Description

Backlinks   A measure of the number of web pages found on the Internet that contain a link to a specific page. Backlinks can be found both within a web site and on other external web sites. Search engines that use backlinks to measure the value of a web page (for the resulting listings) include: Google (includes AOL), AllTheWeb (Fast), Altavista, Hotbot and MSN.

CPC - Cost Per Click   Payment method where the client pay on a "per referral" basis. The referrals in this case are being generated from search engines, where the client pays for unique traffic generated to their web site from their search engine campaign. Email Marketing   Includes: list building strategies, list management/ segmentation/ categorisation, strategy development, creative, template development, online survey solutions, delivery, tracking and analysis, design & build of website/microsites, digital animation, mentoring, use of best practice, legal compliance regarding Spam Act.

Keyword Strategy   The main task of search engine optimisation is establishing the premium set of relevant keyword phrases that will be applied to all facets of a client's web site, including visible text content and a web site's non-visible code. Keyword Phrase   A group of one or more words that end users enter into search engines. Also known as a search engine query.

PPC - Pay Per Click   A payment method used by both "keyword buying" and "express feeding" services.

Reach Report   This type of report look at what percentage chance there is in an end user finding a specific web site regardless of what search engine they use. Very effective in showing what your overall search engine position is for specific keyword phrases.
Search Engine   A web site that keeps a record of web sites on the Internet within its own database. Search engines offer links to web sites in the world wide web. Search engines list these web sites in order of relevancy to a user's search query and importance placed on the site by the search engine.
